At the tip of the “White towns route”, the city of Olvera is in the province of Cadiz. The White Towns of Andalusia, or Pueblos Blancos, are a series of towns and large villages in the northern part of the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga in southern Spain, mostly within the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. Cycling might not be the best way to move around the old streets of Seville because of the pavements, but this bike sure has a charm.

Jerez de la Frontera is a very old city. A lot of people think downtown is a place full of shops, but it’s not. The real center is this. It’s abandoned and the houses are falling down, but people prefer to keep going shopping at the new stores.

Taken on the way back to port from a trip of Dolphin Spotting in Southern Spain, I was intrigued by the rare shape of this tower, which looks to me like a guard tower for the port of Duquesa. This photo reminds me of the tranquility felt on holiday, and feels like a reality different from the ‘normal’ everyday life.

Driving along road just outside Antequera, Spain, came across this beautiful field of sunflowers with the house perfectly positioned. The blue sky complements the yellow/orange of the sunflowers so well.
